"Glory Denied-4th Movement"
To this day, I say that the contemporary Tom Cipullo opera, Glory Denied, was one of the hardest scores to follow, and if you lost your place, it could take a few minutes before you find your place. This is a clip from the 4th movement in where there is unison playing between he xylophone and the flute/piccolo, and the same between the snare drum rim and the viola. I really had to shed the part just to survive till the end. I literally could not take my eyes off the music for a split second, or I would have lost my place.
Recorded live in the Studio Theater at the Prince Music Theater, Philadelphia, PA
