1940's Slingerland "Radio King" solid maple shell, 6 1/2" x 14"

Every drummer dreams of owning one of these treasures.  This is a circa 1940’s original Radio King model with a three point strainer that extends the snare wires beyond the bearing edges.  The lacquer blue/silver fade finish and nickel lug casings are original.  The one-piece maple shell that the Radio King was known for has warmth unsurpassed by modern designs.  This is one of my all time treasures and great sounding vintage instruments
