1980's Yamaha steel shell, 6 1/2" x 14"

 

Yamaha snare drums with extended snare systems always sounded great to me, and when this steel model became available, I thought it would be a great addition to my collection.  A 10 single lug design, this drum has tremendous depth along with cutting edge and power.  A great instrument when you want a deeper sounding drum that has a little bit of extra bite of a metal drum.  One of the very finest models of 6 ½" x 14" steel snare drums of the 1980’s!
