1993 Pearl soprano, maple shell, 7" x 12"

 

Pearl was one of the first manufacturers to create a soprano snare drum.  The 12" diameter matched up with the 7" depth created a very interesting and unique sound.  I replaced the old high tension lugs with chrome plated brass tube style lugs that fit into the exact same holes that already existed.  The drum was only offered in this orange-maple color.  I have used this drum as a secondary side snare as well as a primary snare when I want something just a little smaller.
